A UFO out of the way!

I didn't do much quilty yesterday, but I did do a little something. As I was waiting for DH to get home from work....so he could take his lovely wife out to dinner.......I came upstairs and decided to practice machine quilting on a block I made long ago. It was actually fun! However, I realize I still have a LOT of practicing to do on my machined quilting skills. This morning I put a back on it and made it into this.
I accomplished 2 things with this...getting an old block actually made into something and getting a little machine quilting practice.

Good for you! The dogwood pillow looks very pretty. I need to follow your example and start practicing, too.

Your pillow is beautiful!!! The machine quilting is a little scary for me, but I am planning some table runners in the near future to be machine quilted.

I can do a good meander with the machine but that's about it. So I need to practise too. Your cushion is really pretty. Will look great on a chair or bed !

Your cushion looks very pretty. I too admit to feeling more than a little nervous when I consider getting creative with quilting.
