I haven't done any actual sewing today. I did go to the Machine Quilters Showcase in Overland Park KS today. Saw lots of lovely quilts. Found a few items that just had to come home with me! I've been looking for a bluebonnet pattern that I could applique. I found one today that has bluebonnets and a mockingbird. It's really a pattern for doing as a crayon quilt, but I can easily adapt the drawing to fabric applique. I also 2 Dover coloring books...one with birds and one with butterflies. Their coloring books have drawings that are also easily adapted to applique. Then I also bought some fat quarters in shades of blue. Now all I need it time to finish UFO's so I can let myself start these new projects.
