My photo isn't very good, but at least it gives you an idea of what I did on the mystery quilt project I started sewing on last night. I'm sewing and cutting again this morning and will try to take pictures again tomorrow of what I finish today.

This is the very first time I have ever done a mystery quilt. Sure hope this all goes together OK. I have extra pieces left of the 4 patch. The instructions said nothing about having extra pieces of that, but it did mention extra pieces for some of the other parts. Knowing me....I've done something wrong and will have to go back and cut more....or do the dreaded "frog sewing"....rip it, rip it. Yeah! I know it is corny, but that is what we always called ripping back in the ancient days when I was taking home economics. It is a habit that has stuck with me for years. Besides...I hear lots of other ladies calling it frog sewing too.
